Additionally, these healthy, but packaged products have a limited variety and limit your imagination and taste buds. Therefore, there are many ways to make them at home, plus package them as well. Fruits and vegetables, such as, cherry tomatoes, carrots, strawberries, blueberries, etc. are all easy to eat, nutritious, and easy to package in ziplock bags. Other snacks you can make at home are fruit popsicles with sweet fruits. You can use watermelon and strawberries or just watermelon, blend them, pour them in popsicle molds, insert the stick top, and freeze them. They will be ready in no time and both you and your children can enjoy them.
3. Protein-rich snacks
Protein is an essential macronutrient that is made up of amino acids, hydrogen, oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, and carbon. As you can see, these are all so important for the body and deficiency of it is extremely dangerous. This is why other than vitamins and minerals that should be in our healthy snacks, we should always consider having protein in our snacks whether it’s for you or for children.
